NOTE: This version seems to be very stable as an alternative to floats. After using -moz-inline-box for Firefox 2, I soon discovered a bug that prohibits any absolute positioned children (that is the dropdown). There is a work around for it that uses an inner div that is relative positioned, the html gets cluttered up real quick though and the parent list item stretches it's width. It's not very pretty so I just left things the way they were for now. I will continue to look for an FF2 alternative but it does not look promising. However this method works well for FF2 when there are no dropdown sublist needed. Other than that it seems to work just fine in all other browsers.
